Aquatica is currently under construction, expected to be open by the end of 2008. Once opened Aquatica will be a unique tourist attraction and educational facility in Sabah, featuring over 500 native species from 9 major habitats, providing you with the opportunity to journey around the ecosystems of Borneo and explore the vast biodiversity contained within them.
The aquarium will feature daily animal feeding presentations, talks and demonstrations. Educational workshops and behind the scenes tours will also be available to provide an entertaining and enlightening experience for all our visitors. Aquatica expected to open end of 2008.
Opening Time


Aquatica will be open daily from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm

Admission


You may purchase Aquatica tickets upon your arrival at our ticket windows in front of the Aquarium.

Aquarium and Discovery Centre admission includes all the galleries, hands-on labs, and presentations as noted on the daily handout.

Standard Ticket:

Adult : RM 25.00
Child : RM 10.00

Family Ticket :

2 Adult and Up to 4 children : RM 75.00

 
How to get here
 


You can get here by taxi, public bus or by tour agency. Take any taxi or bus from the Kota Kinabalu city, it will take you 10 minute ride to Aquatica KK.
