Current Vacancies


We are always open to applications from anyone, regardless of qualification or area of talent. However, these are our most pressing vacancies.

Aquarists. Looking after our living exhibits is a 24/7 job. All training will be provided, but a watery background is useful. Graduates in Aquaculture, Biology, Conservation, Marine Science or something similar along with Dive Masters, Aquaculture technicians, Hobbyists or Enthusiastic amateurs.

Artist. Old fashioned, paint brush wielding artist. We have murals to paint on walls, exhibits to decorate and discovery centre modules to beautify. If you can Photoshop or Flash then that's a bonus but not a requirement.

Demonstrators. Don't know what one of these is? Don't worry. Be part of our public face regardless of age or qualification. What you need is an absolute passion for science, the environment, conservation, biology or teaching. Oh, and the ability to talk the hind leg off a donkey.

Shop Manager. Help us move from an empty space to a fabulous gift shop. Coordinate shopping trips and suppliers, T-shirt printers and basket weavers. Experience is a must for this position. Enthusiasm, independence and a driving licence are also valuable.

Chef. We need a chef with international tastes and creative flair to coordinate our cafe, skills with cakes, pastries and pizza along with plenty of experience are essential.

Tour Guides. Can you control thirty excited school children?. Convey our enthusiam for the environment in a foreign language? If so, we need your talent. Speakers of Korean, Japanese, Russian and Arabic are our priorities, but any enthusiastic personality will be considered.
